October 26, 2011. Anritsu Company has announced that it is working with the two largest providers of mobile communications services in Mexico to ensure high-quality, reliable voice and data for spectators, organizers, and competitors in the 2011 Pan American Games, which are being held in Guadalajara, Mexico, through October 30. Anritsu’s MasterClaw® and Professional Services are working with the providers to ensure the wireless networks operate effectively during the two-week event, which is expected to have nearly one million spectators and more than 6,000 competitors.
Anritsu is working with the two largest providers of mobile phone services to ensure that their networks are in the best possible condition to support the games. Before the games began, Anritsu’s consultants worked closely with the network operators’ experts to agree on the reports, dashboards, and alarms that were necessary to evaluate network performance, and for the early detection of service-affecting problems as wireless traffic increases.
Upon the start of the games, Anritsu’s MasterClaw system began to capture details of every event in the network, allowing for deep analysis if a failure occurs. Simultaneously, by building up data from millions of individual events, the overall evaluation of network usage and performance is being understood.
