Input Filter Keeps DC/DC Converters EMI Free

Aug. 11, 2011
For protecting dc/dc converters from EMI, the EFIL-100-10 input filter measures 1" x 2" x 0.47" can be used with a single dc/dc converter or as the front end for multiple converters as long as the total input current does not exceed 10A.

The filter contains input and output capacitors plus differential and common mode inductors. It is isolated input to output and the isolation voltage is 1 kVdc. Maximum input voltage is 100 Vdc and maximum input frequency is 100 Hz. CALEX MFG. CO. INC., Concord, CA. (800) 542-3355.
