With a stock length of 9 in., the Super Ion Air Knife eliminates static electricity from paper, plastics, and other product surfaces where poor print quality, dust attraction, tearing, or jamming are a problem. It uses a small amount of compressed air to establish a uniform sheet of air flow that's filled with positive and negative ions from an electrically powered ionizing bar. The laminar airflow minimizes ion recombination and moves the ions over long distances for large-area coverage. Force can be adjusted from a "blast" to a "breeze." Air consumption is just 3 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) at 5 PSIG. Lengths up to 48 in. are available from stock. Price is $335.
