Completely reactive and containing no solvents or other volatiles, the UV15-7DC one-component polymer system is optically clear, non-yellowing, and cures with UV light and/or heat. Uninhibited by air and exhibiting a fast UV cure at ambient temperatures, typical cure times range from five seconds to three minutes depending upon wavelength, intensity of UV light, and polymer thickness. Typical heat curing schedules are 10 to 30 minutes at 250°F to 260°F. The company recommends heat curing for applications with shadowed-out areas. Other features include a low viscosity, the ability to adhere to many different substrates, a Shore D hardness greater than 70, an elongation of 65% to 75%, and a tensile strength of 5,460 psi. The UV15-7DC is available in pint, quart, gallon, and five-gallon containers, as well as syringe applicators. MASTER BOND INC., Hackensack, NJ. (201) 343-8983.
