With a bandwidth of up to 864 MHz and relatively flat response, the C4020 RF differential splitter/combiner is especially well-suited for use in video products, such as CATV networks, set-top boxes, cable modems, and HDTVs. For CATV set-top boxes, the device can receive a differential signal from an amplifier at its input port and divide the signal into two differential output signals for interfacing to downstream differential video tuners. The differential (balanced) configuration, when used with differential amplifiers, eliminates the need for additional balun transformers. Also reported to have above average isolation, the 0.31" x 0.35" x 0.210" high differential splitter has a starting price of $0.99 each/2,500.
