Saturn unseats Jupiter as the moon king

WASHINGTON, DC—A research team led by Carnegie's Scott S. Sheppard has discovered 20 new moons orbiting the planet Saturn, making that planet the present moon king for our solar system. The Carnegie Institute for Science is having a contest to name the orbs, which are about three miles in diameter. The International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center revealed the discovery on Oct. 7.
