This week's cartoon is from personal experience. Early in my solo career, I had a design job from General Electric while being a stay-home dad for a year. It was a power supply design, so naturally there were crises and blown-up prototypes with serious time pressure. At the same time I had two dogs and a daughter to entertain.
Of course you can buy play pens, but what fun is that? I built an 8 ft x 8 ft play area with custom games, puzzles, and toys so I could get some work done.
