Essex, England: Components and subsystems maker e2v Technologies acquired MiCS MicroChemical Systems from Renaissence PME, Saia Burgess Electronics Holding AG.

Based in Corcelles, Switzerland, MiCS MicroChemical Systems designs and manufactures specialist semiconductors for use as airquality sensors in automotive applications. The silicon-based gas-sensing technology is complementary to e2v's existing sensing technologies and gas-sensing products employed in industrial safety applications.
