A line of LED drivers has received U.S. Energy Star certification, allowing users to reduce energy usage by up to 85% compared to other units in a wide range of indoor and outdoor lighting applications. The drivers feature instant start technology with parallel circuit configuration. Operating temperature range is ?20°C to 70°C, and the drivers incorporate over-voltage and over-current protection. In the case of a short circuit, the drivers will automatically recover and return to full power. The line is IP20- and IP66-rated for dry and wet conditions. In addition, the drivers offer enhanced design functions, including the ability to create versatile lighting effects with dimming capability and light distribution control for each LED built into the fixture. With an ac input of 110 V, operating levels range from 160 to 304 V ac and have been tested to ensure a current accuracy of 1% and load regulation of 3%. The company offers a three-year or 100,000-hour warranty. AMERICAN BALLAST, Fremont, CA. (888) 313-8188.
