Housed in high-density 68-lead Jedec PLCCs and having package dimensions of 24.89 x 24.89 x 6 mm (max.), a series of 32-bit wide flash memory products is designed to offer significant density improvements over the densest monolithic equivalent. The devices are upgradeable within the same footprint and their output width is user-configured as 8, 16, or 32 bits. All devices utilize 5V program/erase architectures. A clear upgrade path exists from 128 k x 32 for the 68F4006 device, through 512k x 32 for the 68F16006, to 1M x 32 for the 68F32006. Access times of 70 ns to 150 ns are available.
