SRAM Family Draws Very Little Power

Two new additions to firm's 0.25-µm, six-transistor cell SRAM family include the IS62LV2568L, a 256k x 8 asynchronous SRAM, available in low power; the IS62LV2568LL, available in ultra-low power, and the IS62U6416LL, a 64k x 16 asynchronous SRAM. All are designed for portable equipment, such as cellular phones and handheld systems, in which high speed and very low power consumption are crucial. The devices are also reported to be well-suited for a wide variety of telecommunications and networking systems. Both the IS62LV2568L and the IS62LV2568LL devices, which are reported to provide low power options to system designers, are available in 32-pin TSOP and STSOP packaging.
