Five user-programmable, dual-voltage CPU supervisors, the X55020, X55040, X55060, X55620, and X55621, integrate a system battery switch, power-on reset, watchdog timer, and two low-voltage sense circuits along with an EEPROM on a single chip. The X55621 offers a separate external watchdog output and a manual reset option. All of the devices communicate through a standard SPI interface operating at 5 MHz. Other features include user-programmable functions that allow low-voltage reset trip points for two independent low-voltage monitors to be programmed for a range of 2.55 V to 5.5 V. Pricing starts at $2.27 each.
