It’s my pleasure to announce that as of May 1st, Embedded365 is live! This web site, which you can find at www.embedded365.com, is meant to be a resource for embedded designers. What does that mean? From an editorial standpoint, the site contains all of the product information, articles and other material related to embedded systems that has been published by the magazines in the Penton Electronics Group, which includes Electronic Design, Wireless Systems Design and Microwaves & RF in addition to this magazine. Besides the editorial part, the site has several sponsors. These companies, who naturally are involved in the embedded space, place information on the site as well. This may be in the form of data sheets, app notes, white papers and so forth. The site is online 24/7/365, so the information is always available. The site is partitioned into halls, for easier access to information. These are labeled “Semiconductors,” “Software” and “Boards, Modules, Components & Test.” Several key words within each hall help you to zero in on the information you’re seeking. Is Embedded365 a finished product right now? Absolutely not. We expect the site to grow and grow over the months and years. On the editorial side, we will actively solicit materials of interest to embedded designers. If there are any topics in particular that you would like to know more about, don’t hesitate to let me know. The more feedback I get, the better the site will become over time.
