In a movie designed to extend its reach in key markets, Exar Corp. has announced that Pioneer-Standard Electronics Inc., a leading distributor of electronic components and computers products, will distribute its product in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The addition of Pioneer-Standard to Exar's distribution network is expected to significantly broaden the demand for its system-oriented analog and mixed-signal ICs in the communications, video and imaging, and silicon sensing markets.
