Chip Resistors Handle High Power

July 12, 2011
Without compromising solder-joint integrity, the SM Series surface-mount wirewound chip resistors feature terminations that expand and contract with the PCB and specify power ratings 1W to 4W.

Without compromising solder-joint integrity, the SM Series surface-mount wirewound chip resistors feature terminations that expand and contract with the PCB and specify power ratings 1W to 4W. Resistance values span 0.01Ω to 5 kΩ with tolerances as low as 0.1%. The SM Series is available in tape and reel packaging in quantities that vary with package size/power rating. Pricing varies with size, resistance value, and tolerance from $0.31 each to approximately $1.05 each in full reel quantities. STACKPOLE ELECTRONICS INC., Raleigh, NC. (888) 734-7347.
