Reporting the industry's highest current density in the smallest package, the E70340-xxx series filter inductors specify current ratings from 100A to 250A. At the top of the series, the 8-µH CWS E-70304-010 withstands up to 250A in a 1.75" x 1.75" x 1.25" package. The component exhibits a dc resistance of less than 0.7 mΩ. Measuring 1.7" x 1.7" x 1.25", the 20-µH E-70304-005 is rated at 150A. The inductors are wound using thick helical coils on a Sendust powder E-core construction with distributed air gaps using ceramic binders, allowing them to operate in temperatures from -55°C to +155°C. High-potential rating for winding-to core-isolation is 1 kVdc. Price is $7.50 each/10,000. CWS COIL WINDINGS SPECIALIST, Santa Ana, CA. (714) 547-4446.
