Claimed to posses qualities that set them apart from all contemporary product offerings, a line of single-layer, high-frequency capacitors, the SLC series, is designed to operate into the millimeter bands. The dielectric constant of these capacitors is nominally 22,000 with typical temperature characteristics over an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The net result, it is claimed, is a device that offers the industry's highest volumetric efficiency.
Offered as an example, a 1,000 pF device would measure only 0.035'' x 0.035'' x 0.006 '' and maintain its capacitance value within ±15% over the entire temperature range. The capacitors are available in sizes from 0.01'' to 0.09'' square plus custom configurations.
