The series HCT surface-mount toroidal power inductors come in inductance values that range from 1.25 µH to 29 µH and, depending on size, with rated currents as high as 17.4 Adc. They are available in four package sizes starting from 15.6 mm x 15.6 mm through 24 mm x 24 mm and all sizes are no more than 10.2-mm high. These self-leaded devices use a high temperature rated case that can withstand all surface-mount assembly procedures. The powdered-iron toroidal core provides low losses plus high saturation currents, it is said. Complete data curves are available and packaging is in bulk. Temperature rating for the inductors is from -30°C to 130°C.
