Comprised of the GS and GW series single- and dual-cell super capacitors, the CAP-XX ultra-thin G Series general-purpose super capacitors offer an alternative to the power limitations of batteries in portable and handheld electronics. The components promise long-life performance up to 2.3V in the single-cell versions and 4.5V in dual-cell configurations with two cells connected in series. Both versions operate in temperatures from -40°C to +75°C. GW series features include a 28.5 mm x 17 mm footprint, capacitance values up to 0.4F at 4.5V, and equivalent series resistances (ESRs) as low as 60 milliOhms. Measuring 39 mm x 17 mm, the GS series offers values up to 0.7F at 4.5V and ESRs as low as 34 milliOhms. Prices for the GS and GW series range from $3.06 to $5.69 and $3.06 to $5.37 each/1,000, respectively. TECATE INDUSTRIES, San Diego, CA. (619) 398-9750.
