Available in an industry-standard 0805 package measuring 2 mm x 1.2 mm, this new family of chip inductors has a maximum dc current rating of 60 to 245 mA. The surface-mount inductors feature a wire-wound, ferrite core construction with tin-and-lead coated terminations, with the inductors offering a minimum SRF of 17 to 63 MHz.Inductance values for the devices range from 1 to 33 µH with corresponding Q values ranging from 15 to 10. Standard tolerances are ±10% and ±5%. In addition, the components exhibit maximum dc resistances of from 1.2½ to 12.7½ and are available in 2,000-piece reels at a 4-mm pitch.
