Designed for use in single and multiple LC filters, the company's 5Y tunable inductors operate over a frequency range from 100 MHz to 1 GHz. The inductors are offered in values ranging from 50 nH to 500 nH and their SRF exceeds 1 GHz. Via specially selected ferrite, a unique winding configuration, and custom magnet wires, the inductors are reported to produce quality factors (Qs) comparable to powder-iron toroids with the added feature of being tunable.
