Ultracap Modules Invade Military Turf

July 28, 2010
Custom modules employing either Tecate's PowerBurst or Maxwell Technologies' BoostCap ultracapacitor cells enable capacities from 0.5F to 3,000F.

For military apps, custom modules employing either Tecate's PowerBurst or Maxwell Technologies' BoostCap ultracapacitor cells enable capacities from 0.5F to 3,000F. Internal cell balancing facilitates plug-and-play capabilities plus module-to-module balancing for higher voltages. Encased in aluminum housings, the modules withstand over one-million cycles and offer a choice of mounting, cable, and interconnect options. TECATE INDUSTRIES, San Diego, CA. (619) 398-9750.
