Parks Associates announced that it is hosting the 11th annual Connections Europe in Amsterdam this week. More than 200 industry executives will learn about the smart Home, IoT, and the connected consumer.

Representatives from Allianz, Amazon, Nest, and Panasonic will deliver keynote addresses. François Girodolle, head of product partnerships, Nest Europe, will present “Creating a More Thoughtful Home.” Dave Isbitski, chief evangelist, Alexa and Echo, Amazon, will discuss voice control for the smart home and the IoT. Dr. Christoph Döbrich, innovation manager, Allianz Worldwide Partners, and David Tuerk, general manager, Smart Home & Telecom Europe, Panasonic, will address IoT and connected services.

In addition to keynote addresses, the two-day conference, slated for November 2-3, will feature analyst presentations on IoT strategies, consumer research, and panel discussions with high-level executives from startups, Fortune 500 companies, venture capitalists, and public-relations and media companies.

Session topics will include the business case for the smart home and connected consumer products, safety and security, smart-home solutions delivery, wearables and entertainment, connected health, IoT smart-home standards, cloud and infrastructure, and data analytics.

“The smart-home concept is expanding across Europe as consumers explore new energy management, security, and connected entertainment solutions in the IoT,” said Stuart Sikes, president, Parks Associates. “Parks Associates anticipates steady growth over the next few years in key smart home and IoT categories, including security, smart light bulbs, thermostats, and energy. At Connections Europe, we will address ways to enable connections for new partnerships and discuss solutions that will keep this market moving forward.”
