Trench FETs Tout Low On-Resistance

Aimed at synchronous buck dc/dc converter applications, two TrenchFETs in the Little-Foot SO-8 package are rated for a maximum on- resistance of 3.5 m½ for the Si4864DY and 3.3 m½ for the Si4862DY. Both devices can handle up to 25A at 4.5V

Aimed at synchronous buck dc/dc converter applications, two TrenchFETs in the Little-Foot SO-8 package are rated for a maximum on- resistance of 3.5 m½ for the Si4864DY and 3.3 m½ for the Si4862DY. Both devices can handle up to 25A at 4.5V gate-to-source voltage. Maximum VDS for the Si4864DY is 20V, while the Si4862DY is claimed to be the industryÕs first power MOSFET with a 16V drain-source voltage rating. Pricing starts at $1.33 each/100,000.
