ADLINK to tout outdoor server, media cloud server at RSA 2015

April 15, 2015

ADLINK Technology, a provider of cloud-based services, intelligent gateways, and embedded building blocks for edge devices that enable the Internet of Things (IoT), will highlight its latest networking solutions and 40 Gigabit Ethernet AdvancedTCA processing blades at next week’s RSA 2015 event, April 20-25 in San Francisco.

ADLINK will demonstrate these products:

  • The HXC-1000 outdoor rugged server-grade edge-computing device, powered by Intel Xeon processors, does not require temperature regulation and can be installed in outdoor environments. The HXC-1000 comes with six memory sockets and an IP65-rated enclosure that eliminates the threat of water and dust.
  • The MCS-2040 dedicated media server with built-in media processing management software offers 6x the performance of pure software transcoding solutions and reserves more than 80% of CPU capacity for customer applications. The MCS-2040 targets video applications, such as surveillance with video analytics, video conferencing used in remote education, and healthcare environments.
