Serving as CW light sources in fiber optic transmission systems that employ external modulators, the NX8570 and NX8571 series DFB laser diode modules provide eight channels, tunable with 50 GHz spacing, or four channels, tunable with 100 GHz spacing.

Serving as CW light sources in fiber optic transmission systems that employ external modulators, the NX8570 and NX8571 series DFB laser diode modules provide eight channels, tunable with 50 GHz spacing, or four channels, tunable with 100 GHz spacing. Both modules integrate Etalon filters and wavelength monitors and exhibit a wavelength stability of +20 pm. Output power is 20 mW for the NX8570 and 10 mW for the NX8571. The modules are housed in hermetically sealed, 14-pin butterfly packages with a floating anode and thermoelectric coolers and isolators.
