The BCM5761 embarks as the industry's first 65-nm Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) controller that integrates client manageability via web services-based management and advanced security for Windows Vista requirements. In support of open client-management protocols, the controller features a centralized architecture that provides an advanced level of secure, remote offline manageability. Employing the company's TruManage technology, the controller supports both DASH and PMCI protocols and interfaces on a single chip and its on-chip processor and memory subsystem reduce the possibilities of system component failures.
