Interfacing legacy voice, leased lines and data services with optical SONET/SDH lines is the function of MSF250 framer. Implemented as a SoC by Intel’s Microelectronic Services Div., the framer supports services such as High-Order (STS) and Low-Order (VT) Virtual Concatenation (VC) with Link-Capacity Adjustment Scheme (LCAS).
