The 433-MHz LR Series receiver module interfaces to data sources such as microcontrollers and decoder chips, making it suitable for applications in remote control, keyless entry and periodic data transfer. Capable of operating at distances greater than 3,000’, it reaches a 5- to 10-times longer range than previous receivers. The module runs from supply voltages from 2.7V to 5.2V and features adjustable transmitter power and receiver sensitivity in excess of –115 dBm. A precision crystal-locked PLL allows for transparent data transfer at rates up to 10 Kbps. Only an external antenna is needed for operation. The module is housed in a small SMD package compatible with previous Linx receivers. It meets regulatory standards for interference immunity and is available in other frequencies for domestic and foreign wireless applications. Pricing starts at $6.78 in production quantities.
