The e8720e and e8715e Wireless Systems are the first fully integrated wireless digital devices to concurrently handle voice and data in multi-protocol processing environments such as residential gateways that can wirelessly control household functions such as thermostat settings, garage door operation, security, and Internet access from the cordless phone handset or base. The Product-on-Chip solutions propel wireless system designs to new levels of integration, enabling smaller form factors and lower product costs.
The devices handle multiple baseband protocols for a broad range of wireless applications. In 128-lead TQFP packaging, the e8715e is priced at $5.00 each; the e8720e costs $6.50 each.
