Said to be the lowest power 1-GHz solution available, the PE3292 PLL is a 1.2 GHz/550 MHz dual fractional-N PLL designed to efficiently address high-performance frequency synthesis requirements. Developed with two operation capabilities, the PE3292 accommodates varying voltage levels on the prescaler circuit in the PLL due to the firm's FlexiPower technology. The device, which integrates a PLL prescaler powered by 1V, reduces power consumption for applications such as cellular handsets, one- and two-way pagers, ISM-band wireless products, and other wireless communications devices.
