Housed in SOT-363 packages measuring only 2 x 1.25 x 0.9 mm, the UPG153TB, UPG154TB and UPG155TB SPDT GaAs switches are well-suited for cordless and digital cellular telephones and PCS, WLAN and WLL receivers. The RF ICs are said to save real estate and lower assembly costs by replacing discrete PIN diode switching solutions. Operating from 100 MHz to 2.5 GHz, the devices offer respective insertion loss of 0.5, 0.3 and 0.6 dB, PIN (1 dB) of 33, 30 and 34 dBm, and isolation of 13, 24 and 16 dB.
