Offered as the company's next generation 13 Gb/s limiting modulator driver, the MTC5527 module drives lithium niobate modulators and includes an ac-coupled, single-ended input and output. Compared to earlier drivers, the module is said to provide lower power dissipation, lower output jitter, higher input sensitivity, lower rail ripple, and edge speeds up to 22 ps.
