Capable of supporting downstream data rates exceeding 6 Mbps, the PBM39705 Dual Mode Line Driver is a ASDL line driver offering low power dissipation and a high degree of functionality without compromising performance. The device is designed for use in both fulltate ADSL applications according to ITU recommendation G.dtm, as well as in splitterless ADSL applications according to G.lite. The line driver is well-suited to both central office and customer premises equipment applications. Power dissipation in G.dtm operation, including external circuitry for termination settings, is typically 0.85W in central office applications, and 0.4W in CPE applications.
