A 1.25-Gbps high-speed limiting post amplifier less than half the size of conventional devices, SY88913 IC offers an attractive cost/performance ratio for 1.25-Gbps Gigabit Ethernet systems, 532- and 1062-MHz Fiber Channel applications, and 622-Mbps

A 1.25-Gbps high-speed limiting post amplifier less than half the size of conventional devices, SY88913 IC offers an attractive cost/performance ratio for 1.25-Gbps Gigabit Ethernet systems, 532- and 1062-MHz Fiber Channel applications, and 622-Mbps SONET. This limiting post amplifier offers low noise and chatter-free loss-of-signal (LOS) generation, provides high gain and wide bandwidth, and is well-suited as a post amplifier in fiber-optic receivers with data rates up to 1.25 Gbps. The device has a PECL LOS output, and a sister device, SY88903, has an open-collector TTL LOS output.
