Targeting notebook-computer designers, the TS5L100 and TS3L100 quad SPDT LAN switches support both 10 Base-T and 100 Base-T Ethernet signaling and promise to eliminate the redundant circuitry resulting from the implementation of a MAC and PHY device on the docking station. Both switches consume 3 µA and operate over bandwidth of 350 MHz. The TS5L100 specifies a typical crosstalk of -60 dB and an on-resistance of 3?, while crosstalk for the TS3L100 is -55 dB with an on-resistance also at 3?. Prices for the TS5L100 and TS3L100 are $1.69 and $2.07 each/1,000, respectively. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Dallas, TX. (800) 477-8924
