Fabricated on the company's new iHBT process, the MAAPSS0003 and MAAPSS0006 two-stage power amplifiers incorporate advanced GaAs iHBT power transistors and drive and bias control circuitry elements in a compact package. Designed for use in cellular-band TDMA/CDMA and PCS-band TDMA/CDMA wireless handsets, the devices are designed to simplify power control networks. In addition, they operate from a single 3V-3.5V supply, are housed in a 3 x 3 mm or 4 x 4 mm FQFP-N package, the cost less than $1.99 each/100,000.
