Ready for use in portable products, the TUA6041 and TUA6045 tuner chips emerge as the industry's first single conversion tuners operating at a supply voltage as low as 3V, thereby lowering power consumption and heat dissipation. In terms of size, the devices integrate the RF and IF functions to reduce footprint area to an overall size of 49 mm². Both tuners support multiple analog and digital TV standards: PAL, SECAM, NTSC, DVB-C, DVB-T, T-DMB, DAB, ISDB-T, and ATSC. Other shared features include a stand-by mode and selectable narrow- or wide-band automatic gain control. In addition to manual alignment, the TUA6041 provides automatic digital alignment via software during basic set-up in the production process. INFINEON TECHNOLOGIES CORP., San Jose, CA.
