A high-performance, low-cost IC transfer switch in the tiny MSOP8 package, AS127-59 4-port switch combines transmit/receive and antenna changeover switching capability in one device. By eliminating the duplexer, the switch reduces the size, weight and cost, without sacrificing performance. And it reduces rejection requirements of filters and delivers low insertion loss that translates into longer talk time and less power requirements. The switch controls voltages of 0V to 5V and is said to give excellent performance up to 2 GHz to fit dual-band applications.
