Claiming to possess unequaled jitter tolerance, transfer and generation capabilities, the ADN2809 monolithic, clock and data recovery (CDR) and limiting amplifier is a multi-rate device operating up to 2.7 Gb/s. Compared to similar devices, the CDR uses a proprietary delay-and-phase lock loop architecture to ensure that every SONET/SDH jitter requirement is exceeded over all operating conditions.Data rates from OC3 to OC48 and Gigabit Ethernet are supported simultaneously with all associated digital-wrapper rates for forward error-correction applications. In a 48-lead CSP, price is $65 each/1,000. ANALOG DEVICES, Wilmington, MA. (800) 262-5643.
