The high-speed, 11-bit 349-series of PIN diode attenuators covers the 1.0 to 18 GHz range. Operating over octave frequency bands, the digitally controlled attenuators switch in less than 300 ns. Both 64 and 80 dB versions are available, with 0.03 and 0.04 dB minimum step sizes, respectively. The units operate over a -40¡C to 85¡C temperature range, with a temperature coefficient of ±.025 dB/¡C. The units have SMA connectors and analog input, or users can choose a strobe latch. Typical dimensions are 3" x 2" x 0.82". GENERAL MICROWAVE, Farmingdale, NY. (631) 630-2000.
