The CX86111 and CX86113 home network processors combine an ARM926EJ-S core with a memory management unit (MMU) and operate at speeds of 200 and 300 MHz, respectively, on multiple operating systems. To provide secure Internet access sharing for multiple computers, the processors include an advanced encryption engine for high-speed, virtual private network (VPN) applications. For LAN applications, the network processors support Ethernet, USB, HomePNA, HomePlug, IEEE 802.11a/b/g, and other standards. WAN access support includes digital DSL, cable, Ethernet, and other broadband technologies, as well as MMU interfaces with industry-standard operating systems, including Linux, VxWorks and Windows CE.NET. The 200-MHz CX86111 is available in a 256-pin FPBGA package and the 300-MHz CX86113 comes in a 324-pin FPBGA. Price for the CX86111 is $15 each/10,000. CONEXANT SYSTEMS INC., Newport Beach, CA.
