Model MCWL-4-4562 wideband subminiature logarithmic amplifier offers a typical linearity of ±1 dB. The device instantaneously covers an ultra-wide RF input frequency range of 200 to 700 MHz. The log video slope is 30 mV/dB, ±10%, as defined by the best fit straight line of the video output voltage measured over the typical input signal range of -65 to 5 dBm. Other specifications are VSWR of less than 2:1 referenced to 50 ohms, nominal limited IF output power of -2 dBm, and excellent pulse fidelity. Power supply requirement is ±5V with a total consumption of 1W. The log amp is targeted at next generation EW and high-performance commercial applications.
