Offered as singular, miniature hybrid devices, the AMRT4 and AMRT5 radio modules integrate a complete AM transmitter. The modules are designed to simplify the deployment of wireless data transmission systems and minimize overall component counts. Both modules transmit data at rates up to 4 kHz over distances up to 230 feet. Data may be sent directly to the transmitter from a microcontroller, encoder, or CMOS/TTL source without the need for additional circuitry. Employing thick-film hybrid technology with no adjustable components, the modules offer stable operating frequencies of 315, 418 and 433.92 MHz. They operate on supply voltages from 2V to 14V with a typical power consumption of 4 mA. The AMRT4 is available in DIL packaging and the AMRT5 comes in a SIL package. Quantity pricing for either module starts at $6 each. For more details, call Sean Bailey at OKWELECTRONICS.COM, Bridgeville, PA. (800) 965-9872.
