The MAX9392 and MAX9393 2 x 2 LVDS crosspoint switches accept a myriad of input signals and output them as ANSI TIA/EIA-644 LVDS-compatible signals. The MAX9392 accepts LVDS, HSTL and other ground-referenced input signals, while the MAX9393 accepts LVPECL, CML and other VCC-referenced differential input signals. As each of their channels can be independently programmed to any input or both outputs, each channel can be configured as a 1:2 splitter, 2:1 multiplexer, dual repeater, or a 2 x 2 crosspoint switch. Both devices exhibit a maximum jitter performance of 2 psRMS, typical output-to-output skew of 10ps, and a maximum frequency of 1.5 GHz. Available in 32-pin TQFP and 32-pin TQFN packages, prices for the MAX9392 and MAX9393 start at $4.48 and $4.88 each/1,000, respectively.
