The EVAL-01 system helps IC developers quickly install, configure, and evaluate the company's TCP/IP, SSL, and IPsec offload engines. As a result, customers can cut months from their IC-development cycles and diminish the risk in implementing these complex communications processors. The card contains the complete ELP-01 TCP/IP offload engine, enabling designers to attach the evaluation system directly to the Internet or onto a test network. Once configured, all TCP/IP traffic is directed through the evaluation card hardware stack and routed to browsers, ftp clients, or other traffic analysis software. The $5995 EVAL-01 includes a PCI card and supports Linux driver software. Delivery is four to six weeks.
