San Diego, CA-In a move to provide RF integrated circuit designers with the integration advantages of its Ultra-Thin-Silicon CMOS technology, while allowing them to maintain their IP, Peregrine Semiconductor has introduced its Customer-Owned Tooling/Foundry program. Suited for designing low-power, high-speed, cost-effective RF products, the process is said to offer a superior insulating substrate which allows for high-quality passives, highly linear transistors and excellent isolation. This allows different RF circuits such as microwave, analog and digital functions to be combined onto one chip.
