Three GaAs microwave monolithic IC (MMIC) building blocks have been developed that are particularly well-suited for microwave or millimeter-wave point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless communications systems such as commercial local mulitpoint distribution services and local multipoint communications systems. The devices are subjected to 100% on-wafer testing up to 50 GHz and for SAW separation, as well as being visually inspected.
