Capable of being used as a direct BPSK modulator, the RF2628 is a complete dual-mode CDMA/FM upconverter containing a double-balanced mixer stage and an output buffer amplifier. Operating from a single 2.7V to 5V power supply, the IC features a 9-dBm output intercept point with 0 dB conversion gain. The unit does not require any external matching components other than coupling capacitors. Typical applications include CDMA/FM cellular systems, dual-mode AMPS/pDMA, dual-mode TACS/pDMA, battery-operated systems and both commercial and consumer systems.
