Intended for frequency domain, high-current applications, the 5585 Series of bias tees are capable of carrying up to 8A of dc current. And unlike most high-current bias tees that are specified for only an octave band, the devices typically cover a decade of frequency. Five models with overlapping bands are offered to cover frequencies from 70 MHz to 18 GHz. The 5589 covers all of the major, popular wireless bands from 450 MHz to 2.5 GHz. The devices are packaged in a 1" x 1" x 5/8" metal module.
